Bright Settings can use Twill to make your Fitted Tablecloths
Product: Fitted Tablecloths Fabric: Twill
For that perfect blend of beauty and durability. This fabric will allow you the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of both the cotton and polyester world. A 50/50 blend gives you the feel of cotton combined with the strength and durability of polyester. Twill is a nice heavy fabric, but since it is 50/50 polyester/cotton, Twill fitted tableclothswill require some ironing.
50% Polyester/50% Cotton, Wash Warm/Dry Low If your tablecloth is wider than 120", there will be seams.
A FITTED TABLECLOTH is also referred to as a FITTED TABLE COVER or FITTED TABLE DRAPE. You can think of it as a tablecloth that
fits over your table like a box. It is made to fit the exact size of your table with side panels on all four sides that "drape"
down to the floor. The side panels are designed with inverted box pleats on the corners which allow you to open the sides. This
is a convenient feature for storing items underneath the table. Because it is all one piece, a FITTED TABLECLOTH eliminates the
need for a tablecloth, a table skirt, and skirting clips.
A fitted tablecloth fits over your table like a box. Measure the width, length, and height of your table. If you can match that with
one of our standard fitted tablecloth sizes shown under the Pricing tab, you can place your order there. If the size you need is not
listed, please contact one of our sales consultants at 800-327-6025 or email us
with your measurements, and we will be happy to assist you in ordering a custom-made fitted tablecloth.
To determine the size of your fitted tablecloth you need to know the width, length, and height of your table. Most tables are 29"-30"
high, but check yours to make sure how high it is.
Once you have these dimensions, just list them.
Example: Table size 18"W x 60"L, and the height of the table is 30"
This is a Serged edge. Please go to this link and click on FAQ and then "Tablelinen finishes Merrowed vs. Hemmed". This will show you the merrowed edge and a Hemmed edge. Hemming is available, there is a 10% charge for hemming.

my table is oval shape. What is the cost for a template?
Ann S on Oct 28, 2017
Our Oval Shape is a Racetrack. This has round ends and straight sides. Any other oval shape requires a template which there is a $25.00 template fee.
Rita Irwin Staff on Oct 30, 2017
Thank you! The shape you describe might work. I'm looking for a "racetrack" tablecloth that is 52 x 70. I'll see what I can find on the website.
We custom make all of our cloths. You can have any size that you need in any of our fabrics.

Table is 48 inches wide 71 inches long oval. What size tablecloth will I need?
Chris DeBruyckere on Jul 15, 2017
The size tablecloth you need for 48 x 71 tables depends on how much drop you want hanging down off each side of the table. We recommend 8-10 inches, but it's really a matter of personal preference. Let's say you want the tablecloth to hang down 10" from the tabletop all around. You need to add 10 x2 = 20" to each dimension. 48+20 = 68 AND 71+20 = 91. So you'll need a 68" x 91" tablecloth for your table. All square and rectangular tablecloth sizes are figured in the same way. If you're not so good at doing math, our easy tablecloth size calculator makes it easy: https://www.brightsettings.com/tablecloth-calculator.html

Can you make a 36" round to use under a centerpiece on a table?
If my table is 43 x 103, what size table cloth do you recommend?
Helen Lyons on Sep 26, 2016
The typical drape we recommend is anywhere from 8 to 12 inches. If you sit at your table with a ruler and measure from the top edge down toward your lap, this will help you determine the amount you would prefer. Once you have the drape figured out just add the amount to your table dimensions two times so that it will drape down on each side the same amount. I have shown an example below based on a 10" drop. 43" wide table +10" + 10" = 63" wide tablecloth 103" long table + 10" + 10" = 123" long tablecloth Table measuring 43" X 103" with a 10" drop is a tablecloth size 63" X 123".

does this fabric need ironing??
on Jul 18, 2016
The fabric content of Twill is 50% polyester/50% cotton. Any fabric with a cotton content will have more of a chance of wrinkling than a 100% polyester fabric. Some customers have said they do not have to iron this at all, while others have said they do have to iron this. If you wash this in a warm but not hot water and do not over load the washer or dryer and remove promptly from both that can help reduce the chances of ironing.

Can bleach be used on this fabric?
Kate B. on Apr 12, 2014
Thanks so much!
Kate B. on Apr 12, 2014
It depends on the color you choose. I would not bleach unless it is white.
The Twill is a very nice, no wrinkle, fabric. Not felt like but very serviceable. We have purchased a number of them in different sizes and colors for our expandable dinner table and have been very satisfied. Lots of color options.
my table is 36" in diameter - what is the smallest size I can purchase?
on Oct 19, 2012
The smallest size I would recommend would be a 52" Round tablecloth. This will give you a 8" drop. You can use the custom size drop down box at the bottom of the Round tablecloth ordering page to select and order this size.

I have a round dining table that is 65 inches I diameter. What size tablecloth do I need?
on Oct 13, 2012
I also added a 6 inch drop when I ordered my tablecloth. This seems optimum so as not to be skimpy and not to interfere with guests sliding the dining chair in and out from under the table.
Donna Von Lipsey on Oct 28, 2016
Always add a six inch drop from the tabletop. In your case, this would mean 75 inch round.
Margaret Babbitt on Dec 8, 2012
I would recommend a 8-10 inch drop all the way around. Check out the Bright Settings calculator. For a 65 inch table, consider ordering a cloth between 81-85 inches.
L E on Oct 14, 2012
125 inches would be to the floor.
S H on Oct 13, 2012
It depends on how much drop you want. Multiply the drop by 2 and add that number to the diameter of the table. So, if you want the tablecloth to hang down 10" from the table all around, you would multiply 10 X 2= 20. Add 20+65 and you would need a 85" round cloth.
washes beautifully, hangs almost wrinkle-free, great color and it seems to be color-fast, luxurious feel...however the hem looks like it was sewed in by a 6-year old on her first sewing lesson using the machine.
Had to rip it all out and redo...there was plenty of fabric (another plus) so that was no problem. Just do hate to pay for something and then have to "fix it" in order to use it.
Because I liked the fabric so much, I will probably order another in a different color.

Twill is great
Jul 23, 2018
This is about the 6th tablecloth in this fabric which we have purchased in different sizes and colors. We love them. The variety of colors is fabulous. The fabric does up nicely after washing and does not hold stains. It is perfect for our informal dining area.

This tablecloth was perfect for my needs and exactly what I was looking for! I have an odd sized table and needed a custom size. The quality of the fabric was really nice and there were no seams and it had finished edges. It shipped in a very timely fashion too! The only reason I’m giving it a four star instead of five is because it was expensive with shipping. Overall, I was very pleased with my purchase, I would order again. Also, the instructions they provided on how to measure your table really helped and it fits just right! Thank you!😊

Color not as depicted
Dec 31, 2017
The tablecloth arrived in a very timely manner. Unfortunately the color I received was nothing like I expected based on the color sample on the website. It was too late for me to return and reorder due to the holiday being so soon. I was going for a merlot/ burgundy color and instead it comes across as almost purple. It fit my table perfectly and I was very impressed with how quickly a custom tablecloth was made and shipped. As well it was ready for the table with very little ironing. However, after the first wash the texture is no longer the same. It's lost its sheen and smooth feel. Would not recommend selecting a color without an actual fabric sample to look at. Also be extremely careful about laundering as it can change the fabric quality.
