My Table is 42 inches wide and 144 inches long with the extension leaves. I want the table cloth to drop to the floor as well. What size should I get?
Lily Morris on Nov 15, 2017
The size for the tablecloth to drape to the floor depends on the height of the table. If the table is 30" in height the tablecloth size is 102" X 204" . To get the size I took your table dimensions and added the drop of 30" two times so that the tablecloth will drape to the floor on each side.

I need a simple white cloth for a very large table. It's 144"x48" with a 29" drop. Is there such a thing?
Sue Greig on Mar 13, 2017
I had a custom tablecloth made for my very large table. I thought the Basic Polyester fabric was very nice and the price for a large custom-size cloth was excellent. I highly recommend Bright Settings.
Martha B Stephens on Mar 13, 2017
Hi! I've purchased many tablecloths from Bright Sertings over the years. I have found that the can make any size. Larger cloths will have a seam where they have to join fabric. However I always find that it isn't noticeable. I'm very satisfied with everything I've purchased from Bright settings. Angela L.
Angela Lannen on Mar 13, 2017
We custom make all of our tablescloths so you can have any size that you need. For your table 48" x 144" with a 29" drop you will need a 106" x 202" tablecloth. We offer a variety of fabrics that would be seamless for your size. For solids the Basic Polyester and the Spun Polyester would both be seamless.
Our table linens come with a standard merrowed edge. If you prefer your tablecloths to have a hemmed edge, we can do that as well for a small up charge. There is a $4/dozen upcharge for hemmed napkins. The upcharge on tablecloths is 10%. Please note that hemmed edges are not recommended for round or oval table cloths due to their tendency to pucker. Can I use an 8 inch drop for an oval table that is 38 inches wide and 78 inches long?
Marilyn Markoff on Oct 17, 2016
Yes-8 inches all around means you order 16 inches larger for the width and length.
Lea Marshall on Oct 17, 2016
8 inches all around on my table are way too long. Six inches would be perfect. My new table cloth was 10 inches which is way too long. Plus the added pieces on the sides. Now that's way too long.
Our Basic Polyester fabric is 132" inches wide. So if you are ordering a cloth smaller than 132" wide it will not have seams.
Marc Templin Staff on Jan 28, 2016
you list your fabric as 132 in wide. Do you actually mean length?
on Feb 24, 2015
No, the fabric basic polyester is 132" wide off the bolt, the tablecloth can be as long as you need it to be but the width of the fabric will remain 132". So if you need a 132" X 168" tablecloth it will be all one piece, no seams would be required. If you needed a tablecloth 144" X 168" this would require seams since the fabric is 132" wide and you need the tablecloth to be 144" wide. Please let me know if there is anything else I can help with.

Does the material stretch or crease easily?
Larry Sellers on May 27, 2014

my table is 44' wide and 86' long. The 22' on each end is a perfect 22' radius. In essence the rectangular center portion of the table is 42'"X 44" wide and the two end pieces are two half circles 22' in radius. is this a special order?
on May 6, 2014
Our oval tablecloths are made in the shape of a racetrack. They are made to fit a table that begins as a round with leafs added in the center that are straight. A standard oval tablecloth should fit this table fine. We do offer custom tablecloths where you send us a template of the exact shape and size of your table and tell us how much drop over the edge you would like and for a $25 fee we will cut the cloth exactly using your template.

I've read sizing charts but cant seem to find uniform sizes to hang over. I would order if I could figure it out? Thank you!
jennifer w on Oct 27, 2013
We recommend a tablecloth drop of anywhere from 8 to 12 inches. These tables are not very large so an 8" drop should be sufficient. To calculate the tablecloth size add 8" to the width two times and add 8" to the length two times. For example, for the table 32" X 66" take the width of 32" + 8" + 8" = 48" then take the length 66" + 8" + 8" = 82", the tablecloth size for this table is 48" X 82". You can also use the tablecloth size calculator at the bottom of the list of standard square and rectangular size tablecloths to calculate the sizes: http://www.brightsettings.com/table-linens/Basic-Polyester-Solid-Colors-P1A-S6.html If you prefer to order over the phone you can call 800-327-6025 between 8AM and 5PM Eastern Time Monday through Friday.

Yes the basic polyester tablecloths are available in round, square, rectangular, and oval shapes in any size. If you look over to the left of the fabric swatch you will see a list of tablecloth shapes and additional items that can be made from this fabric such as napkins, chair covers, table runners. Just click on the shape you are looking for to see a list of sizes and prices.

What size overlay should I order for a 96" long table?
on Sep 19, 2013
The overlay size will depend on how wide the table is and also if you have a floor length tablecloth underneath. If the table measures 30" wide and 96" long and you have a floor length tablecloth on it and just want a tablecloth to cover the top and drape down some a size 54" X 120" will do this. The tablecloth size 54" X 120" will drape down an even 12" on each side.

How are the corners on the fittedtableclothes? Are they pleated? I have a table that is the standard 24"W x 72"L but is about 34" tall can I have it custom made? What would the price be for 1? For 2? Thank you,
Kendra on Sep 16, 2013
Each corner on a fitted tablecloth has an inverted pleat so that the tablecloth can be placed on the table and removed easily. Since all of the tablecloths are made to order we are able to make any size, including custom heights. The price for 24" wide X 72" long X 34" high fitted style tablecloth from basic polyester fabric is $48.50/each. Please give our sales office a call at 800-327-6025 to place this order.

How are these tablecloths hemmed?
on Sep 7, 2013
A merrowed edge finish is the standard finish for all of our table linen. If you do not specify that you’d like a different edge finish, your table linens will be finished with a merrowed edge. You can request to have a hemmed edge finish on square and rectangular tablecloths, napkins, or placemats. There is a 10% upcharge for a hemmed edge finish on tablecloths and a $4.00 per dozen upcharge for hemmed edge finish on napkins. Go to the following page to see the differences between the two edge finishes and watch a video that shows them and talks about them: http://www.brightsettings.com/BrightIdeas/hemmed-vs-merrowed-table-linen-edge-finish/

Will be using the 70" round over a raw wood bedroom end table. How tightly woven is the white polyester fabric? Can one see easily through it?

Janice S on Aug 19, 2013
If you order a round Tablecloth you would want to order a 70" Round. This will have your tablecloth will drape 17". If you want to order square you would need a 54" square, this will drape 9" on the sides and 28" at the points.

Hi there, I'm looking for wedding tablecloths for 2.4m trestle tables. Can you please advise which is the best size?
on Aug 7, 2013
Our 72" x 120" Tablecloths will give you a lap length cloth. You could also go with a 90" x 156" Tablecloth which I believe would go to the floor if you are wanting a formal look.
Connie Williams on Aug 7, 2013
My son is getting married and the tables will be 60" rounds with white tablecloths supplied by the venue, however, we want to put a "square tablecloth over the top, so that some of the white shows through around the edges. White dishes with the purple napkins. What size square to you think we need?
Sandra Place on Jun 17, 2013
For a 60" round table I recommend using a 72" X 72" square tablecloth for a topper. This covers the entire top of the table and the four corners will drape down about 20" which will look just right.

Rhonda Rudy on Apr 30, 2013

To specify another height you can either note in the special instructions during the checkout process or you can call 800-327-6025 to place the order. There is an upcharge for skirting at the 36" height, the price depends on which fabric it is.

oops.... you have to enter the TABLECLOTH size not the TABLE size when you're using the "Order Any Size Not Shown Above:" tool to order a custom size.
Marc Templin Staff on Mar 15, 2013
The standard size cloth for a 72" long table that is 30" wide and 30" high is a 90" X 132" cloth but if your table is 29" high you would need to order an 88" X 130" cloth. This can be ordered by using the "Order any Size" tab at the bottom of the standard sizes and entering your table dimensions.
i am having a dinner/ fashion show in July and have decided to use solid bright colored napins on our tables in the color of Orange, Green, Yellow , Pink, turqoise, red, and purple. These colors are hot for the season and I need enough to do 12 -14 tables that are 90 inch round with seating from 8-10 people per table. I have searched other sites and they are offering only 5 napkins per package in each color. These will be paired with overlays in the same colors. I hope the colors you have are bold because that is what I am looking for in the 20x20 size?
Elizabeth Berrios on Mar 15, 2013
Our napkins are all sold by the dozen, the dozen is all one color so if you are using 7 different colors you would need to order a dozen of each. We do offer fabric swatches so you can see the actual fabric and color before ordering. I would suggest that you order fabric samples to ensure the colors are what you are looking for for this event.

I apologize, I didn't notice your quantity of 2 each. The 30x72 fitted cloths are $42.37 each, and the 26x60 are $37.80 each.
Connie Williams on Feb 11, 2013

Table size 40x102. Table size 36 x65. What size should I get for these 2tablecloths?
on Feb 3, 2013
The tablecloth size will depend on what amount of drape you would like. We recommend anywhere from 8 to 12 inches. For the 36" X 65" table with a 10" drop the cloth size would be 56" X 85" and for the 40" X 102" table with a 10" drop the cloth size would be 60" X 122".

What table cloth size would I order to fit a 6' standard rectangle banquet table (6' table drape) & 8' table drape and what about to fit 2'x10' classroom type tables to the floor? Also for catering which fabric is best and most durable & most wrinkle free the poly or spun poly fabric. Which fabric would have the least or no seams in a 6' & 8' table drape? Thanks,
Kim Cummings on Jan 17, 2013
90x132 fit a 6 foot table to the floor and 90x156 fit a 8 foot table to the floor. For your classroom tables (24" x 120" x 30") you would need an 84x180. These would all have rounded corners to keep the cloths from puddling. Most caterers and special event coordinators use our Basic Polyester Fabric. This fabric would be able to make all these cloths without seams.

I am having my daughters shower somewhere that only supplies white table cloths. Our theme is black and white and we really wanted black tablecloths. The tables are 60" round. What size table cloth should I get? I would need 8 what would be the least expensive way to go? Thank you much, Karen
karen cassetta on Jan 16, 2013
The size for the cloth depends on how far down you want the cloth to drape. On a 60" table a 90" cloth will drape down halfway or 15". If you want floor length you would order 120" rounds. The least expensive fabric is basic polyester.
Eileen Douglas Staff on Jan 16, 2013
what would be the price of a polyster fitted tablecloth 48x 30x 36 tall i need 4 tableclothes?
dave hammack on Jan 7, 2013
About $25 per tablecloth which includes shipping.
A R on Jan 7, 2013
The price of the basic polyester fitted tablecloth size 30" wide X 48" long X 36" high is $76.99/each.
The skirting is sold by the foot. To figure the length of the skirt you need you first need to decide how many sides of the table you want to skirt and add the measurements. If you have an 8 foot table and want to skirt 3 sides you would add 30" + 30" + 96" = 156" which is 13 feet. If you want to skirt all 4 sides of your table you add 30" + 30" + 96" + 96" = 252" which is 21 feet.

what size tablecloth do I need for a table that is 60" by 36"?
Jean Kohlmayer Last Name on Apr 9, 2013
The tablecloth size will depend on how much drape you want. We recommend any where from 8 to 12 inches as a drape. If you sit at the table and measure from the top edge down you can see where this will fall at your table and determine what you prefer from there. To calculate the cloth size add the drop to the table dimension two times so it drapes down on each side the same amount. For example for your table that is 36" wide if you want an 8" drop you will add 36+8+8=52 so the cloth width would be 52", the length of the table is 60" so add 60+8+8=76 so the cloth length is 76". The cloth size for your table with an 8" drop is 52" X 76".
I have the Christmas red napkins & they are perfect with any Christmas decor.

I had a similar situation with finding a table cloth for the dining room. Way too much wood showed in there and I wanted a cloth to leave on the table 24/7 that also would look good with a table runner I'd already purchased. The solution was to order color swatches from Bright Settings. Then I tucked the edge of each, one by one, under the runner and squinted to narrow the field of vision. The right one popped as soon as I saw it and the decision was made. The final product turned out to be perfect and pulled the decor of whole room together. Good luck!
I have a square table that is 48 inches by 48 inches. It is 301/2 inches tall. I think I need to order a table clothes 109 inches by 109 inches because I want it to go to the floor. I am confused about whether to get the rounded corners. It will be used to cover this table during the holidays because it will display our Snow Village decorations. Can you give me advice on the corner preference?
Liz Kingman on Nov 24, 2012
You will need to order a 109" x 109" Square tablecloth with Rounded Corners. This will keep the cloth from puddling on the corners as the points would drape too far.
Connie Williams on Nov 24, 2012
I have an oval table measuring 54" wide X 75" long. Do you sell a tablecloth to cover my table? The drop can be 10" - 12".
on Nov 12, 2012
We can do any size. For a 10" drop you would need a 74" x 95" Oval Tablecloth. You would need to click on OVAL for your shape and then since your size is not listed, scroll to the bottom of the pate and use the drop down box to enter your size (74x95) This will then give you the pricing and option to purchase the cloth.

My table is 48" diia. and 1/2" thicknes. Is that size available? What is Minimun order? Thanks
Linda Holley on Nov 12, 2012
We do not have minimum orders, you can order just one piece.
Connie Williams on Nov 12, 2012
We can make any size to fit your table. If you are looking for a fitted tablecloth you would need a 54" elasticized cloth. If you want a drape, I would recommend a 68" Round tablecloth, this will give you a 10" drape all the way around.
This question is in regards to the quality of the fabric. I purchased some linen from another company, but you can see through the fabric. So my question is, can you see through the fabric? What is the quality of the threading?

We have 72" tables which size tablecloth should we order?
Paula Marks on Oct 23, 2012
It depends on how much drop do you want. Multiply the drop by 2 and add that number to the diameter of the table. So, if you want the tablecloth to hang down 10" from the table all around, you would multiply 10X2= 20. Add 20+72 and you would need a 92" round cloth. Standardly, you would purchase a 90" cloth for a 72" round table, but at Bright Settings you can order a custom tablecloth that is the exact size you want .
Marc Templin Staff on Oct 23, 2012
Do these hold up in the wash? Stain easily?

The fabric drapes beautifully. Color does not fade- mine has been washed a ton! I would encourage blotting the stain and then spot treating. If not- a wash with Borax or baking soda often took care of most messes. From a Mom of 3. Tablecloth most often used for family gatherings (12 people or more) is still useable...

They do hold up well in the wash. We used them in an art gallery for exhibit openings on the tables where we served food. The gallery has since closed and I can't remember if they stained.

My tablecloths and napkins in the Basic Polyester Solids have held up very well. They haven't stained, even when they are heavily soiled. Just wash and dry them according to the directions.

I purchased several of these tablecloths in Terra Cotta in 2009 and 2010 for Thanksgiving. We have anywhere between 20 and 50 people show up each year. They have washed well and dry very fast, with no stains. I do spray them liberally with stain remover before washing. I have only washed them a few times, since we only use for large family gatherings, but they have been very durable so far, with no signs of fraying.

A year later they still look like new with consistent use and laundering.

I have ordered several tablecloths and runners. Up to this date, I've not had any concerns about washing or removing of stains. Just like any fabric, if you do get a stain and you treat it immediately and properly, it will usually come out, but if left untreated, naturally the stain will set as with any tablecloth or clothing item. Hope this helps.

Hello: I have purchased dozens of these cloths over the years to use as coverings for our tradeshow booths. We first used white but found that customers tended to set their coffee cups down and left coffee rings. They wash out when treated for stain remover and bleach added to the wash, but our salespeople did not want to have to wash them each time. They are extremely large and a bit unwieldy for one person to handle. We switched to black cloths and I haven’t heard these complaints any longer. I personally washed them a couple of times and found that with another person helping me fold them right out of the drawer, they required no other ironing or maintenance. I can’t speak to how well they would hold up with frequent washings. Hope this helps!

We purchased this fabric in black to use as a table cover as well as backdrops for our craft show display booth. I have yet to wash them in 3 years as I can usually brush off any dirt marks. There have been no stains. The tablecloth and fabric have held up very well. I often recommend this purchase to other craters.
