The seminar version of Veteran Plywood Folding Tables have a 3/4" Douglas Fir top with hardwood runners of white ash, oak or beech, and are glued up with water resistant exterior glue, and then through bolted (not screwed). Oil based stain is applied to both the top and bottom of the table as well as two coats of polyurethane. Due to this care in construction, Veteran plywood tables will last longer than imports that tend to use thinner tops and interior glues which will cause the plywood to delaminate sooner after prolonged exposure to moisture.
