Deck Surfaces
- The surfaces of our portable stages feature heat-treated aluminum extrusions with choice of baked on powder-coating in textured black non-skid finish or midnight black carpet
- Each 4x8 section has integral rib-type reinforcement for maximum strength. Each rib is 1-1/2" deep; total surface is 3" deep
- Each deck will support 8,000 pounds of distributed weight, or 250 pounds per square foot
- Velcro™ skirting easily attaches to a recessed strip. The 3/4" protected black Velcro™ is provided on the full perimeter of stage for optional skirting
- Carpet wear surface is 100% high UV Olefin or Stamina by Grassmore, all-weather unitary backing, Class "A" fire rating
Legs
- The legs of our portable stages are welded aluminum cross member assemblies are bolted to the stage deck.
- Leg inserts are cut lengths of 2" square aluminum tubing in 8", 16", 24" and 32" lengths
- Positive hand-tightened knob locks each insert into place
- Legs are capped at bottom with durable stopper glides to protect floor surface
Slide Key
- Stages are locked together with 4" anodized aluminum slide key mechanism to provide a level top and leave no gap between tops
- Stages can be joined at any point where edges meet

Southern Aluminum guarantees to the original purchaser that the standard products we
manufacture will be free of any defect in original material and workmanship under
normal use in normal conditions for as long as you own the products. In the unlikely
event such defect occurs, Southern Aluminum will repair or replace the product at
Southern Aluminum's discretion upon inspection, providing the product has not been
misused, altered, damaged, or abused. This warranty does not include damages as a
result of vandalism, inadequate inspection or maintenance, neglect, defacement,
accident, and improper application or handling. Southern Aluminum declines
responsibility where repairs have been attempted or made by others. This warranty
does not extend to custom-made products specially made by specific customer request.
This warranty covers the materials and framework and any folding mechanism. This warranty
does not cover normal wear and tear on top surface or edges. There does not exist any
surface in these general products manufactured by Southern Aluminum, or any of its
competitors, which is completely scratch-resistant. This warranty also excludes the
laminate tops of the iDesign Series tables (the laminates have a five-year warranty),
the carpeting on our portable stages and choral risers (the carpeting has a four-year
warranty), and the vinyl covering on our Lux Pad tables. MardiGras Tables are backed with
a 15-year warranty.
In the event of a problem with any of our products, the customer is responsible for
contacting Southern Aluminum customer service to discuss the problem. Any defective
product must be returned freight prepaid to Southern Aluminum within 30 days of defect
discovery and notification to customer service. Proof of date of purchase must accompany
the shipment. Credit or replacement is not offered for products returned for repair.
This warranty is in lieu of any other warranty of merchantability or fitness for a
particular purpose.
Q: Can I purchase additional slide keys?
A: These are available for individual purchase. The are $7.50 each and shipping would be around $12.
